Food
Dianne is a passionate cook, believing in meals made from scratch and fresh vegetables from her organic garden, all meat is grown on the farm with a natural flavour and aged, fish fresh from the sea. We try to source locally grown foods, with Karamea’s micro climate, feijoas, tamarillos, black passionfruit and tomatoes are grown within the area.
Last year Dianne attended Peta Mathias cooking school, Fete Accomplie in France for one week of hands on cooking.
Breakfast
Our breakfast menu includes fresh fruit salad, home-made muesli, bread and yoghurt.
Whitebait fritters with scrambled free range eggs.
Homegrown bacon, free range poached eggs with home-made hollandaise sauce on toasted baguette.
Fish cakes with preserved lemon and coriander.
